The wait is almost over, as the ISP Primary School celebrates its diversity and brings all cultures to life this Saturday, at International Day. Student take their ‘passports’ and embark on their journey around the world; with family, friends and staff. However, their travels could not happen without the help of our SA and CAS students in the secondary school. The diligent and enthusiastic MYP and IB pupils help organise stalls and hand out passports to ensure every moment is one worth remembering. Their motivation is attributed to their desire to guarantee the primary school International Day is every bit as successful as the renowned event at the secondary school. This year’s International Day, occurring on December 23rd, was a triumph - widely enjoyed by all while raising an impressive €2,938. The money has many notable and worthwhile destinations; leukemia research, the ISP Sustainable Development Project in Namibia this summer, our Refugee Group and the deaf community. At ISP, we take action to serve the global community, one of the main messages of SA. Without a doubt, the primary school International Day will take our learning beyond the classroom, allow us to immerse ourselves in the cultures construct our school atmosphere, and demonstrate the caring and passionate student attitude towards community service.
So don’t miss out, come to the primary school Saturday March 24th to experience one of the best and most memorable events of the year! |
